Interesting Problem, Possible Bug
I need confirmation on a possible bug.
SE IV v1.49
Build a transport, and then transfer population to it from the planet. Select a transfer rate of TEN.
When I transfer TEN, I actually transfer FIFTY.
Most odd.

A new bug.
Fleets that exclusively use fighter, or fleets with a substantial amount of fighters can, and for me, always cause an error message after combat be it Tatical or Stratigic.
Everytime I am attacked by an AI player that uses fighters in excess of 100, I get an access violation error following combat regardless of the victor.
I have forwarded this bug to MM, and I hope Aaron has the time to look into it.
The error occurs with any race that uses fighters as a major elimate of there fleet:
Earth Alliance
Star Wars Empire
Rouge Fleet
Rebels
Narn's
I use any of these races, and they engage my fleet, the combat ends, and I get an access violation error. (Take a look at my error list to date: ERROR LIST

You're not looking at the tonnage, are you? 10 population is 50kT.

dude, i have posted this several times under the 'any more bugs' thread. try simulating a combat with over 1000 fighters, it will cause an error before it even starts. other things that cause errors, are sphereworlds loaded with large weapon platforms. just design one and simulate a combat with a couple hundred large WPs. you can cause an error with less WPs if you design them with excessive ammounts of shield regen, organic armor, or crystal armor.

Puke, thanks for the heads up, I knew someone else has been voicing concern over this bug for sometime, and I am glad to find out it is you.
This bug really detracts from the game as it lowers the expected play level and destroys the ability to have massive fleet engagments with fighters.
This bug is a MUST fix.
