Unfortunately, no. Regenerators do not work on units. Neither do boarding parties on fighters

NOTE: (Crystalline armor on sats does add up over THE ENTIRE STACK) One CA III on each sat means half damage from any weapon hit!
(As of SE4 v1.41, but you'll have to test the exact effects under the new unit stacking system)

Cargo doesn't seem to work on units either.

I tried the boarding party thing as well on "Breaching Pods" but couldn't make it work.

Maybe someway through an added ability?
