Don\'t let me miss my turn...
Impending industry server still down, port 2001.
When server is brought back up, can we have 24 hrs back on the clock to submit turns please? This is to avoid missing a turn.

My turn is completed and ready to upload but I after go to bed now, then work, which means I will not be able to upload for 14 hrs or so when I get back home.

 Cheers.

Yes, of course. None of the timers will start with less than 24 hours on them. |

Server is running! All games have been restarted with 24h timer starting now. There is also a new UPS, so brief outages of the sort that caused such trouble a week ago should no longer spoil the fun. But if the power is out for 3 days again, we'll have to wait. |

I am leaving today for Colorado where I will spend Christmas. I will have Internet access and should be able to play my turns and/or maintain the server while there. However, there is as always some risk of weirdness when I am away. |

Is there anyway to turn off the turn timer for Folket's Random nation game?
I'll be out of town for 72 hours with no internet access. I'm kind of in a critical situation right now being invaded by two nations.

 Thanks,
 Chris

I can't connect either. Also I'm about to leave town for tonight and tomorrow so I won't be able to process a turn until late afternoon on Saturday.
If the server is brought back up, can we run quickhost without a timer for at least this weekend? With the holidays coming up it might be hard for some of us to process turns on a daily basis.

Re: Don\'t let me miss my turn...
Getting lots of requests for timer stops. Given the holiday situation I think it is reasonable. I will therefore issue a general proclamation: All games will be untimed quickhost until the 27th. The exception is Concepts of Creation, where the holiday pause rules have already been discussed in the game thread, and will follow that schedule. If any individual game organizers want the games to run with the timer anyway let me know, and I will turn your timer back on.
As for NewbieNuzzling: Server seems to have died from some problem or another. I will try to revive it and will post as I know more.

				 Curses.
System crash (again!) All turn timers reset. On the positive side, NewbieNuzzling is working again. |
