I have not had any problems with 1.20, but I only process the turns using the command line options. This may be a new bug only affecting you if you run the host turn from within the load game screen in the application. I will try and run some tests this evening. You should be able to stay with 1.20 and run the host turns from the command line though. I wouldn't think you'd need to go back to 1.17.
