This isn't true though. You can launch as many fighter as you like, in as many locations and in as many Groups as you like, provided you have sufficient lauch bays.
In other words, if you have launch bays for 25 fighters per game turn, you can launch 5, move, launch 5 more launch another 5, move and launch the Last 10. Or any combination you like.
I'm sure this is true. I'll have to check it now...

Dogscoff if you move you will launch the other fighters not at the same location, will you?

The problem with this, is that on PBW games, launching units is all or nothing. You can't launch 5, move then launch 5 more. IMO, this is a flaw. It really reduces my stratigic options.

OTOH, you can set the fighter group size in Strategies/Launch. That 25 launch bay carrier can drop 5 flights of 5 fighters each on a single turn, and they will appear in different sectors around the carrier. (This would be on the Combat Replay screen in PBW games.)
