Racism applies to comments made from a stronger party about a weaker thusly it is impossible for a black man to make a racist comment. Ironically it is racist for me to state this.

However the comment about lack of education and going to Iraq is fairly accurate. When the US Army stops lowering entry requirements just to meet recruiting levels you can complain about *****y comments from the Democrats. Until then just buy flowers for the families that can't afford them.

Atro, this is a well thought-out little essay you have penned here. Well done! While you're hardly the first to comment upon the gross hypocrisy of the media, you do make your points well, and illustrate with good examples.

While I won't attempt to excuse the behavior of the media, I can offer you an observation (not original) that may help explain their behavior.

American news networks are not in the business of reporting the news. They are in the business of delivering a target audience to their advertisers.
