Re: opportunity fire
The ww2 patch won't be out for weeks. How many weeks IDK but figure multiple weeks. The MBT patch is what we are concentrating on now and have been since last fall and it's not been released yet so figure some "weeks" after MBT is released before WW2 will be ready. When the WW2 patch is nearing completion we'll let everyone know. However, neither Andy or I want this to drag into the Spring so take that as a guide

Re: opportunity fire
Opfire Filtering
That page shows what is available for Opfire filtering (if you own the CD game version), it will be in the next MBT patch.
This is in the current development WW2 exe for testing right now, and will ship with the next patch.
Cheers

Re: opportunity fire
Woah Nellie! I had no idea that his opfire filtering was a link. Now that ought to make for some intelligent opfire.

Re: opportunity fire
Thanks for trying to find the time frame. What is one of the gameplay major differences you guys were trying to change? I mean, it seemed to me there was some bug that you were going to try to fix, but I can't remember what it was (I had heard it discussed before). Maybe it was just an enhancement instead?
BTW, I don't think what I was talking about was the filtering that was just mentioned. Thanks.

Re: opportunity fire
The two games will be harmonized when the WW2 patch is released ( i.e. both will have the exact same features and extras ) For vitually all of the development of both games one has been more "advanced" than the other simply becasue we've been devloping one then working on the other and adding new things as we go. The release of the WW2 patch will put both in sync
