Newbie help with EA marverni

For marverni I like armies of national troops, vinemen/ogres and construction summons with a communion of druids and stargazers-stargazers communion slave and then just keep holding, druids(with communion master construction item) summon earthpower(so slaves wont die too quickly) then bladewind+gifts from heaven, weapons of sharpness is also nice if you research this far. For the pretender you could try a ghostking with order3 prod2 misfortune2 magic1 A2W2E2D3(airshield, mistform, mirror image, quicken self, prot spells, soul vortex are all avaliable)
