Re: Faerun map? ... and others?
The number of maps, mods, etc that are available for Dom2 was spread over years. If you broke that down into how many per month then Id suspect that Dom3 is actually ahead of Dom2. Im sure that we generated the help docs for the mappers and modders much quicker this time so we should see even more soon.

Re: Faerun map? ... and others?
True. The first version of the Dom2DB came out in, what, June 2004? At the rate I'm going, the DB will take just a month or two at most to complete and it will be something far more comprehesive than all the stuff I did for Dom2. That'd be a lot earlier relatively than the Dom2DB.
The Faerun 283 map will take no more than a week or two to make the versions for all three eras.

Re: Faerun map? ... and others?
In moment we play a MP game on faerun map. There are some provinces with set features and some of them missed the #killfeatures command before the feature list.
For example: Its a little bit frustrating to kill all the undead in northern thay (307) and after the work is done you only found 1 or 2 of the promised features. The rest was displaced by some randoms.
Maybe you could check it for the new version edi.

Re: Faerun map? ... and others?
It would probably be a good idea if one of the map-offering websites were to create a subcategory specifically for Dom2 maps that have been tested or modified to work with Dom3

Re: Faerun map? ... and others?
Yes to both, Neverwinter is located in Faerun, and Faerun is the main continent of the "Forgotten Realms" world.
