The map takes a long time to download, 10 minutes or so for me.

Also if you get a bad packet, just keep trying. Had this in another MP, can take 3-4 goes before you get it. Fortunatly you only after download the map successfully once.

You think ten minutes makes it long! Try using dailup, then you can complain.
