ship is out of supplies.. question

this is well weird - just done this on my SE IV (1.49 patch) game and an unmothballed ship comes out of mothball immediately with full supplies - no need to wait a turn

naturally, this is at a planet with a resupply depot

have I got the 1.49 patch Kazakstani Version or something?

Growltigga...do you have solar collectors or the <whatchyamajigger> that resupplies your ships? If so, I'd imagine that ships would have supplies all the time.

Another possibility is that unmothball behaves differently in simultaneous than it does in turn-based, like a number of other things.

Aaah, you have just answered that mystery. I was beginning to think that I had a 'rogue edition'. You are dead right, I do have solar collectors on my ships (not much longer - I have just discovered ECM I) - that probably explains it.

I'll try mothballing the little darlings tonight after I have retrofitted the solar collectors out of the design
