Just tested: My Dom3 accepts any change in keyboard layout properly. Are you SURE that you have activated German layout? Try Dom3 in windowed mode, this way, you can look at the tray-icon that indicates the active layout. Remember, the layout MAY be different from one window to the next! (It only switches for the currently active window IIRC.)

and i was about to tell you that if you couldn't get it to work just start naming your guys "Crazy O"
