This utility is freeware - I got fed up with winrar nagging me to register on the rare occasions I had to un-RAR something when someone decided to use that non-standard format. I set its file associations to RAR only, as I have a paid-for full version of WinZip and know how to drive that.

I have used Zip Genius for many years and highly recommend it. Opens most compression programs including RAR.
