About the Sea King (EA)
Hi gentlemen,
I'm trying (as a newbie...) a game with Tien-Chi EA. My pretender cast a Troll King's Court and and here went a Sea King wich is described by the following : "The Sea King is a powerful water mage who may grant humans water-breathing abilities if they accompany him".
I can't find the way to trigger this : no spell, so item forging, just putting human units under his command does not work... What did I miss ????

Re: About the Sea King (EA)
I think the text is left over from dom2. They changed the mechanics for dom3 but forgot to take out all the flavor text references (water mages used to be able to go underwater and to bring 1 unit with them per level of water magic).

Re: About the Sea King (EA)
Well, in one of my MP games, a few Sea Kings have brought some fire snakes and assorted humans into the sea since I was pushed off of dry land. So it works for me at least.

Re: About the Sea King (EA)
The Sea Kings can bring troops under water. I beleive they are water breathing 50( but I could be wrong. It might be 25) Which means they can bring 25 size 2 creatures , or 15 size 3.
It just doesn't show it as an icon.

Re: About the Sea King (EA)
All right, I've got it. Darrel is almost right : I had too many men in the Sea King Army. After some tries, I find that it can lead underwater up to 15 size 2 units (== Breathing 30, I guess).
Many thanks for all your answers !

Excellent so they do give waterbreathing.
Does Sea Father? If so waterbreathing what?
Also Lady of the Springs, does she give waterbreathing? If so waterbreathing what?
Well I am asking questions, if I take a land flyer underwater, does the flying ability work in combat?
Thanks in advance to any clever people who know the answers to those questions.
Oh yea, one final question, is there any leader that gives air breathing to aqua only units?

Re: About the Sea King (EA)
I'm not aware of any leader that gives air-breathing. There is an Amulet or something which gives air-breathing to aquatic commanders, although you probably know that.

Re: About the Sea King (EA)
As far as I've been able to find, there's no way to bring water only units on land.
(Short of Gift of Reasoning them, but then they're commanders not units.)

There is one I think. A titan lady. Not sure what nations get her.
