Have you considered using a service as www.no-ip.com, until the URL thingy is solved? it would be much easier to remember something like http://pbw.no-ip.info, than the IP address

Or... you can just add it to your hosts file (windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts). Why bother with an external service when the solution is a notepad.exe away?

If you're using vim, you don't have a Windows host file, do you? I thought vim was a Linux app.

Linux has a hosts file. Vim is a Unix app, but there is a windows version too.
