Re: turn status
Would the upcoming new turn be a good time to install the patch?

Re: turn status
aha! I'll check it out. Everyone please don't patch before you all sent the turn.
I think once you sent it you can patch, I'll see what the correct order is, should be in the manual I think.. At least I read it somewhere...

patching
I checked the patching question in the manual..
says all of you should finish the current turn using 3.06, then I should patch to 3.08 before I host, and then all of you should patch to 3.08 before you load the .trn.
I hear you can copy the entire game folder first, and have 3.06 and 3.08 running next to each other if you are in multiple games with a different version.

The whole folder? Hmm, I have read that you only need to copy/paste a (suitably renamed) copy of the dom3.exe and then have a shortcut to this old exe if you need it for your mp games. That is what I have done anyway, though in retrospect the whole folder copy makes more sense. Hopefully I have not screwed anything.
Anyway, I have already sent my 3.06 turn, so if you patch before hosting then no problems here.

Re: turn
too much burny sunshiny outdoor ickiness... wickid bad bakemonos and their silly more magic than me.
You DO realize that all we have down in our caves here is a bunch of broken statuary rite? With the amazing precision of our golem crafters, NOONE is safe from the magma bolts! and that means we just might hit one of YOUR troops sometimes... so LOOK OUT!
(congrats shinouma(sp) on fielding a better seige army than I had hoped)
