Re: Dark Horizon - CB 1.1 MP game
It looks like Mictlan has finished off Man and Marignon and now comes for Ermor. Rest assured, jungle kids, Ermor will not go quietly into the ever after.

Re: Dark Horizon - CB 1.1 MP game
I gots runned over by Abysians, not Mictlan. The only thing I managed to do right all game was completely raze my capital (no lab or fort and 500 unrest from pillaging).
Got hit pretty hard by my misfortune picks and hadn't considered the upped indy strength when I was making my pretender, or the upped resource costs for the longbows...essentially I got stuck in my cap for the first 3 months and could only recruit about 7 longbows each turn due to resource limits. I actually made use of "fire and flee."
Live and learn, I suppose, though I mostly learned that I don't like Man.

Rumors have it that not even Marignon was brought to a downfall by Mictlan, but by Bandar Log. You should fire your spies.

Re: Dark Horizon - CB 1.1 MP game
In truth we had no spies at all in the far flung lands where these battles took place. We were just making noise to see if we could gather some intel, which has worked out just fine.
So we can assume that Mictlan is unscathed, and that the 200 or so uber blessed jags on our border are a serious threat (as there may be many more reinforcements on the way). Unless of course they want to veer off to the north.

They have no intention of heading into Ermor lands, we would infact be happy to sign a NAP.

Re: Dark Horizon - CB 1.1 MP game
After much debate our Council of Elders has decided to turn down your generous NAP offer. They reasoned that, while dangerous, it is better to face down 200+ jags here and now than to face 500+ at a later date.

Is that a declaration of war? Our diplomats suggest you hire some actual scouts to assess the danger of Abysia- they have more provinces than we do, without the crippling drain 3 scale. Infact, truth be told, that's the reason for the camp out on your border- some mages and thier friends enjoying the clean, drain-free air.
