Blue screen usually means a Driver issue :-/ Generally, software cannot cause Bluescreens.

first time 1.33 to 1.35
Then I reinstalled from 0 to 1.35
For BM I switched from 1.05 to 1.06
Then reinstalled from nothing to 1.06
And what kind of problem would cause a blue screen when opening a menu?
I'm thinking some kind of illegal calculation or a really big problem with a bitmap. I'm going to do some more tests, like without any mod, and then reinstall again...

It sounds like something hokey between DirectX and the video card driver.

I agree it sounds like a video card driver issue. Try changing video memory to "SAFE" in the setup menu and see if that helps.
