Default Bugs - Missing Planets and Class-Changing Units

I'm playing the UM right now, but I am unsure if the bugs are just in UM, or SE4 itself. In new games, and randomly generated maps, I sometimes see star systems with a missing planet. I have the planet names turned on, and there is a label below a piece of empty space. An exmaple is below:

Missing Planet

I really don't understand it.

The second bug is really strange; Out of nowhere, ships and units sometimes completely change classes, vechicle types, etc. For instance, in one recent game, I saw the Angelicans (humanoid-bat race) in posession of a cruiser or a similar ship, in their race style, classed as a citadel (I think its' malfadorian descendants only) falling into a black hole. They don't have malfadorian descendancy. The same kind of thing happened to one of my fighters, who just decided to become a mine.

Messed up Fighter/Mine/Whatever.

Third and final bug - This might be related to the bug that Q pointed out - The game won't load VechicleSize if a ship has an obscene amount of tonnage avaible (like 80000). I think the maximum is like 65000. Is there a way to breach this upper limit?

Edit: Had to make HTML pages for pictures because $%#^$^ing Angelfire will only allow you to view images on its' severs on webpages on those servers.

Sorta, but you have to be sneaky about it. Define a new mount, set it to all types of components, and allow it to make the components it is used on much smaller. Then only allow the mount on the max-sized ship. You don't get more actual space, but the effective size is increased.

Downside: you can't do that and weapon mounts at the same time, so weapons will take up normal amounts of space.

You can just assume that the player would have wanted the "massive mount", and build that into your extra-shipsize-mount.

The other way to go is to divide all ship and component sizes by 2. Your cruiser will be 250KT, but shields will only be 20KT, and bridges 5KT, etc.
Then your limit really becomes 128K.
