I'm back, at least for short time, been busy, have 2 budgets to get done, working on final appropriations & budget for my dept. for my full time job and another one as the President of our Homeowners assoc. both due this week, Hopefully should be back today or tommorrow.

TS, agree we should wait until Gold, also so far I believe its, you, myself, Tiggles, Gryphin, Saxon, don't know about Phoenix D or Memphiso, or if anyone else is interested.

also I think we should send Richard a memo to increase the Graemlin sysmbols, need some additional ones.......

What process do you follow for budgets.

AT my work we follow CMM level 3

I have been thinking of races to play.

I think I am settling on a Engrish 80's to early 90's arcade video game race.... Impulsive of course.... What your going to do when dig dug come for you...........

minus the crappy humour. Tasteful humour only.

Are we doing PBW or PBEM? I have been in a PBEM with three people and it does move slowly. However, we have also said we have to wait for all three of us to put our turns in.

I have never played PBW, but I understand it is pretty slick. That, combined with choosing a host for PBEM, makes me lean towards PBW.

I am up for starting right away, but if we want to wait for Gold I can live with that.

These are just my suggestions:

medium size galaxy
three starting planets
low tech start
5000 racial points
infinate resources
no ai races (then again, maybe...)
role playing in all communication (actually, I have never done this, does it get tired?)

I figure this will be fairly crowded and see some action early. We can really work on getting unique races and focus on each other, rather than the Krill.

I'd say wait for Gold too. New stuff to throw people off

And do it on PBW. I can host, if no one else is up for it.
