Re: OT: The irony of SG1
Goa'uld, actually. (Read too much fanfiction and bad spelling really starts to annoy)

Re: OT: The irony of SG1
All in all, I was seriously disappointed in the series finale for SG1. It seemed little more than just another episode to me, instead of and end to a long-running and popular series.
I greatly enjoyed Stargate SG1, though it did admittedly have it's high and low points. But still, I really think the Sci-Fi Channel dropped the ball on how they decided to end it.

Re: OT: The irony of SG1
Its like a "what happens to the characters afterwards" thing while still being open ended.

Re: OT: The irony of SG1
I saw a clip for next season's Atlantis and it looks like Carter is moving there to be part of that team.
Teal'c aged 50 years in the finale so he's probably about ready to find a nice quiet planet to settle down on.
Jackson can't be a regular on Atlantis for some reason having to do with licensing and intelectual property. O'Neill and Jackson being characters in the original movie can't appear in more than guest roles in any spinoff series.
Mitchell and Shepard are both O'Neill clones and so cannot exist on screen at the same time without mutually self-destructing.

Re: OT: The irony of SG1
Shouldn't Teal'c be decrepit now, rather than just a little grey-haired? He was already ~130... no more goa'uld to slow his aging should have done something...
