In the same regard as any non-mage can use item spells, I guess. The question is, does a successful Mind Hunt attempt from somebody without astral magic still result in a Mind Burn / Soul Slay?

Yes, it does. The mage I have it on is not an astral mage, and he has made several successful attacks.

Does this mean you could put it on a scout for example and still Mind Hunt? |
