Message from a high priest of C'tis to the Ermorian Senate (Ermor still has a senate in MA, right?):

And it came to pass that, upon coursing high through the night skies on his way to wreak havoc upon his enemies, Sankriss, God of invincible power, got distracted pondering the misteries of the universe, and dived through the cloud cover further north than he had intended to. As a result of this distraction, instead of killing the enemies he intended to find, an innocent Ermorian patrol got brutally slaughtered.

While the short lives of mere mortals are hardly noticed by beings such as the exalted Sankriss, God of Patience, and thus the ending of these lives doesn't hold much meaning for him, we, his subjects, understand the pain of the loved ones who are left behind. Therefore we profusely appologise for the inadvertently caused loss of life within your lands, and humbly ask your forgiveness for this tragic incident.
