gladiator bug?
Hmmm, I just had *many* (all) gladiators disperse without having been in a fight. I had 40+ inside an unsieged castle, gatewayed in another 100+, castle still unsieged, no battle but all the gladiators are gone (mage gatewayed fine with all non gladiator troops). Playing EA Ermor, it's mid summer. Is there some quirk to the gladiators that I'm unaware of, or is this a bug?

Re: gladiator bug?
Maybe the gladiators found a scout in this province, fought him and disappeared.

Re: gladiator bug?
Nope, as I said, doublechecked that there was no fight, plus they weren't patrolling (or even assigned to a commander), plus the gatewaying troops disappeared to.

Re: gladiator bug?
Did all your troops in the garrison (unassigned to commanders) disappear as well? Or were the gladiators specifically removed from the garrison? Were any troops that were assigned to (non-gatewaying) commanders lost?

Re: gladiator bug?
Ok, this is real annoying as it happened again..another 100 or so troops just disappearing. It seems to be related to gladiators being inside a sieged castle, they just poof without a fight. This time there was a fight outside the castle, my opponent overwhelmed my PD and the unassigned gladiators in the castle just disappeared. Quite annoying.

Re: gladiator bug?
There was a time when I deliberly moverd some gladiators out of a province to make sure they would not be involved in a fight. They dissappeared anyway, and they were deffinatly not in any fight. It was a while ago but I think it involved a castle as well. Only this time they were on the outside of a castle.

Re: gladiator bug?
Well, I could see how gladiators inside the castle might disappear, if the game just checks "Battle in Province X on turn Y". Not sure abot the other cases.
