 That's a good point Velusion. I'm glad someone's finally made a thread about national standards. For all this time I've had nowhere to channel my feelings on them.
 Personally I really like the LA Pangaea standard. It's great.

 Jazzepi, I feel your pain.  Here is an idea.  Copy/paste everything from thisthread that refers to the standards that raise troop morale, and make a new thread.
 A lot of people here like a good joke, and I must admit I laughed out loud while
 reading this, but fortunately we are short on real *******s.

 It's okay. Maybe my question should be more about how morale + morale lowering spells works. Troops in the battles I was fighting appeared to gain back 20+ morale in a single turn.
