The factory at Tyrik V completed construction of its Bulldog class Defense Base, and has shifted into von Neumann mode. The Defense Base itself is being updated into a DUC Platform with the latest in Ablative Armor technology.

In other news, the scientific community is abuzz with the latest developments in the analysis of the Vaxin BattleCruiser. Theories on how to merge the energy shielding of the Vaxin with our own advanced armor abound. Although the hybrid armor will likely be much weaker, the ability to spread impact energy across a wide area will ensure less damage is taken.
