Gold Extra Races zip mayday
I'm trying to install the extra races (zip files) from the Gold extras CD and, except for AlphaKodiak's zip file, they all (and I mean ALL) give me a "cannot create output file" error. AlphaKodiak's opened up and installed fine. Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Dan

Re: Gold Extra Races zip mayday
Don't know if this is the problem but make sure not to extract to the CD folder. Unzip directly into your SE4 folder or even better to a temp folder you have created on your hard disk.

Nope, that's not it. I'm extracting into the SE4 folder. Are these files available via the web anywhere?

Sounds like your unzip program is trying to create a temp file or something on the CD.
Try copying the file to your c drive before unzipping.

Re: Gold Extra Races zip mayday
Thanks, but that's not it either. Already tried that (and everything else I can think of). I'm using pkzip 5.5 and AlphaKodiak's file ran fine - it's just all the others that are giving me trouble. It almost seems like they're corrupt in some way.

Bingo Mottlee! It appears pk didn't like the pathing in most of the files.
Mucho Gracias,
