Re: New bug with 3.10 (no battle graphics)
If it was the 'w' key that helped, then it has nothing to do with the patch, but just means that you must have hit the 'w' key at some point before by accident.
Try downloading the list of shortcut keys (I think you have to click Games on the left, then Dominions 3, then downloads), and try all the ones pertinent to battlefield view. If you still have weirdness going on let us know.

What I mean, is that if I press 'w' the background disappears and the bug also. But, for instance, I cannot click any more on the units to see the current stats, and if I re-press 'w' I get the same bug again. Also, the units disappear every turn (I have to move to make them reappear, it does a refresh to the screen). I even deleted my dom3config so that any "stale" options would be removed...
I included a capture of the screen without the "w" press. With it, I get units battling on a grey background (but, again, no info available on the units). An the downloadable file with the hotkeys is the same as my manual, page 294...

Re: New bug with 3.10 (no battle graphics)
Oh dear, that is pretty crazy. Make me feel a bit dizzy to look at it in fact.
Okay, sorry that my previous advice was not helpful. I think I misunderstood the issue.
Um... but I don't have any helpful advice I'm afraid. Anyone else? You could always try reinstalling I suppose...

Re: New bug with 3.10 (no battle graphics)
I've had a similar problem awhile back. It shouldn't be related to 3.10, though.
An upgrade to libglu1-mesa broke the battle replays causing the same symptoms.
I fixed it by downgrading to libglu1-mesa_7.0.1-1.
There's a bug report for the library (it broke something else) claiming it's fixed in the next version.

You should see it motion, with lots of troops on the field.

Hi. Thanks for the attention. I had a long lapse in my Dom3 playing, so it did not have to be related to 3.10, indeed.
[After trying] Yay, it works again with libglu1-mesa_7.0.1-1.
BTW, where is the place to make a request for direct pulseaudio support in dom3 ? There already is a SDLAudioDriver for pulseaudio...
