Re: The Dominions of Khaldun
Unfortunately, Llamabeast will be away until Sunday and is unable to start the game before then.

Re: The Dominions of Khaldun
On another note, I will be on the road home at the end of next week. I will be leaving on the 20th or 21st, depending on the weather, and will be able to play again on the 22nd or 23rd. I will try to get to a hotel with an internet connection but there is no guarantee.
Is there any way we can do a quick host, without a time limit, during that time?

Re: The Dominions of Khaldun
With llamaserver, you can not do a quickhost without a time limit, IIRC.
He did mention a way of effectively reaching the same result. Set the timer for something ridiculous, like a fortnight (this American had to check wikipedia for that), and voila!
Think a 336 hour time limit is good enough?

Yeah, I think that would be long enough.
Would this be acceptable with everyone else?

Do you not have fortnights in America? I didn't know that.

Re: The Dominions of Khaldun
Technically, we _have_ them, but we don't use them much outside of literature. As an aside, we're not the only ones. The Spanish, Italian, etc... tend to use fifteen-day units.
Fiscally, we use bi-weekly, for some payroll systems. It's the same thing, but nope, I've never seen a fortnight used outside of classical (read, imported from europe, not Upton Sinclair's the Jungle, but Shakespeare's Hamlet) literature.
