Re: Killing named horrors?
I killed a Doom Horror unscripted with a lucky Disintegrate. I think it was the big bug, it definitely wasn't one of the multi-form horrors. I'm pretty sure they do not suffer perma-death.
If you can't cast Returning or Infernal Prison, then lots of penetration plus Charm or Disintegrate could work.

Re: Killing named horrors?
They act just like Bogus. There can only be one of each around at any given time, but if and when they are killed, they will sooner or later reappear. They should retain all afflictions, though.

So basically, blindness takes care of Horror once and for all?

Re: Killing named horrors?
Even if they horrors do normally keep their afflictions, all shape-changing units have a chance to lose an affliction when they automatically change shape. The nastiest horrors have multiple forms.

Re: Killing named horrors?
No killing. Just blind him and do something until he routs.
At least I hope he routs. Earlier I wrote about the vengeance of the dead hordes who dont die so its your SK who dies because of the turns limit.

Edi:
I am almost 100% I've seen two Bogus bands in one game. But it could be long time ago with 3.0

Re: Killing named horrors?
I'm pretty sure Horrors have the tag that makes them see even when blinded/when their eyes are plugged out.
