Just had an odd problem,
received the turn 9 file at 10:12am then got the turn 10 file at 10:40am.
anyone else skip turn 9?

It came normally for me. You probably have something wrong with your e-mail delivery. Check your message for #9 and see when it was sent.

My early spreading and research stopped nicely in to a famine in my capital (the was lots of unrest). Luckily we abysians have an extra source of income in fire gems.

haha. I had the "1/5 population leaves" on my capital city around turn 4 or 5. ouch!
I had my pretender die on turn 3. that wasn't luck as much as personal stupidity/overambition. big ouch.
I hoping I'm just not the first one out. I got a nice defenisible strip of land, and about to get some decent spells (finally, lost tons of research while Calling God back)
