Re: KG Griffin the Alt History Campaign Continues
There is indeed more. The first and last posts contain the new files. The first has a whole load of tank destroyers and the HS30s the last one has the improved (there were some colour issues) Heavy tank files and some other goodies. Trust me, these are new.

Re: KG Griffin the Alt History Campaign Continues
You know now I'm a little muddled, where did you post these? Or can you do so here. I'm pretty sure I DO NOT have these. Thanks RM.

Re: KG Griffin the Alt History Campaign Continues
RM
I only had a few of these, and certainly no Helo's.
I'm floored, like a kid in a candy store, I've gone from zero choices to I don't know were to start. I've got some work ahead, but it will look so good when trundling around the battlefield. Your armour is grand, and the air choices helos included give me much room to play with. I'm glad to see you and me are like minded when it comes to main guns on these beasts, I never thought a secondary main gun was useful much less practical...... I'm tempted to go back to work on units and restart my campaign, but the Buffalo is still in progress so I'll wait.. Many Many thanks for the hours you've obviously put into these gems.
Bravo Zulu to you my friend.

Re: KG Griffin the Alt History Campaign Continues
Thank you. It is always nice when someone finds a use for something I have made.
The stuff here, I hasten to add, is not all WWII and 50s era. Most of the jets and so on are, minus the VTOL, although the two early designs (VJ 101 C) were 50s prototypes. But the Helicopters, well those are mostly 60s, 70s and 80s designs I am afraid. At a push the Do. 205 Could be used as a post WWII helicopter. But only at a push.
Armour wise you should not have ay problems. You have two E-100s, one with a 128mm gun the other with the 150mm gun and the E-90 (Kaisertiger - you are free to change the name, I made it up) as well as two lighter Tiger IIIs which, I thought, might serve as Tiger II Ds. They are up armoured and reconfigured Tiger IIs anyway. In my OOB they serve, first as interim heavy tanks, until the E-90 is finished, and then as MBTs alongside the Panther IIs until the Leopards come along (65 or something like that).
As for APCs, the HS30s and SPz 252s make a nice addition to any Kampfgruppe, especially now that they have been improved (HS30s are bigger and the SPz. 252 looks nicer than it did before) Both weapon systems provide their own support variants so at least you will have uniformity in the Kampfgruppe with whichever you pick. I have the 252s as precursors to the HS30 L/HS30 S models which kick in in the 50s. The 252s are not retired until 1958, I think.
I am thinking of making some new icons for a light recon tank (the Leopard was its name apparently - it was based off of the Hetzer Chasis) and an E-100 Schützenpanzer variant. Obscene as it may sound, that is just what some genius had in mind for them. I can't think of a better vehicle in which to stick troops in. Very safe. I need to look at some more schematics first in order to figure out where the engine will go. As you are working in a more combat orientated time line I should imagine you might like the Büffels to be equipped with some ATGM type equipment for support work. I can do that too. Infact I will do it now.
Here they are: Camo variant (x2 turret and hull) and grey variant (turret only) with the added ATGM. Do use the Grey Icons too. They look much better, in my opinion, that way.

Re: KG Griffin the Alt History Campaign Continues
Here is that Recon Tank I was telling you about. Felgrau, desert and Camo as standard.

Re: KG Griffin the Alt History Campaign Continues
RM
Thanks again, I'll DL later today as I'm at work now and this rig won't let me open stuff.
I think I'll start work on my amended OOB anyway, but complete this campaign as is. I may have some ideas to bounce off you later. How much trouble would it be to add two rocket pods to each side of the Fa 223 and or mod it somewhat to reflect later purpose built Attack Helo.
I'll be back later today.

Re: KG Griffin the Alt History Campaign Continues
Here is the Drache (with rocket pod and HMG) and two Flettners, one with x2 LMGs the other without. The Flettner makes a nice recon. Hubschrauber.
