You wouldn't need the tool, but it comes in very handy what with the removal of the black border, and the draggable dialog boxes.

I'm just saying that the 9x version of the tool uses the trick of changing rez, starting SE4, then changing rez back to the original setting once SE4 has decided what size to be.
