Re: Battle in the Swamp
Mictlan is pleased to hear news from the world! For the great Graphs of Power in the sky are not visible, so we know not what transpires outside our meager landholdings.
In the north, the thundering hooves of the manhorses have quietened. But Mictlan suspects that is only because they have put socks on their hooves. At dawn when we awaken it appears the very forests and jungles have moved, and we suspect huge armies of the wild creatures are sneaking about, ready to pounce. No mead for Mictlan's armies, not while the dire threat of being pounced upon looms over our head!

Re: Battle in the Swamp
Haha, Jotunheim! You forgot to mention that also your plans of invasion failed miserably that turn. Despite of your overwhelming numerical superiority Ulmish troops managed to disperse your horde of giants. You've lost 130 giants vs 30 plain Ulmish footmen in the last battle - keep up good work! And you've been dealing only with half of my army, the other Ulmish task force is successfully fighting against your Agarthian lackeys, inflicting massive casualties each month.
Now rich lands of Jotunheim are almost defenseless - we urge civilized powers to intervene in our war. We will pay 100 earth gems any nation that will lay siege upon capital city of the barbarian giants.

Re: Battle in the Swamp
Ah, more news of the world! It seems battle rages everywhere.
And Mictlan has been pounced upon, as we feared. We would raze the forests so we could see Pan's armies better, but then where would we get our mushrooms? Never mind, we shall do some pouncing of our own!

Re: T\'ien-Ch\'i still stands!
More news of the world: T'ien-Ch'i would like to announce that for the second time, we have destroyed Man in his futile attempt to take our home province from us.
This time, Man has lost over two hundred archers, knights, fliers, and vine men and ogres. That is in addition to losing a hundred or more units the last time he tried. And failed miserably that time as well.
All for the loss on my side of...a bunch of birds. Plus a dozen or so archer chaff, and I think 2-4 useful leaders. (Maybe; hard to tell.) I even recovered most of the items lost when my kitted-out Immortal heroes died!
Can't wait for more of Man's minions to die on our swords in Round Three! Bring it!
(I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever be kicked out of the game, at this rate. ; )

Re: T\'ien-Ch\'i still stands!
Heh,
So the feeble Tie Chi is begining to see that the cowardly razing all of their lands and killing all their own population before any decisive battles at all was a great folly and idiocy in its highest peak. But you are wellcome to recover

Re: T\'ien-Ch\'i still stands!
Hmm...are you implying then that your catastrophic defeats have left you vulnerable to a counterattack?
