Re: OT: Terminator \"Sara Connor Chronicles\" TV sho
I thought I'd just share something someone said about the next film being a prequel (supposedly)

How could it be a prequel if Bale is playing an adult John Connor? Unless of course it is a prequel in the sense that it is set in the future, but BEFORE John Connor sent Arnie back through time. So it would be set in the past as far as the future is concerned, the future as far as the past is concerned and the future as far as the first movie is concerned, because none of the stuff in the the first movie (which is the past) has happend yet in the future (which is also the past, because for the past to become the future, John Connor needs to send Arnie back in the the distant future in order to save himself in the future past in order for himself to survive long enough to turn into Christan Bale and thus allow for a prequel set in the past future).
Or something.

Re: OT: Terminator \"Sara Connor Chronicles\" TV sho
Not quite correct. The only way it could work is an *infinite loop; John Conner knew who and when to send back into the past because he had encountered them after they were sent back into the past - Thus, he remembers them from his past.
An infinite loop, *or something close to it, is possible if the first triggering event sets the stage for additional triggering events, thus possibly creating multiple loops and multiple timelines.

If a shows primary feature is eye candy, then it is in trouble... unless it is on HBO (and other pay channels)

Saw the finale last night. Cameron destroyed? I guess we'll have to wait until next year or whenver Fox figures we're ready for season 2 to find out. Unless they do a V series and kill the show on the cliffhanger.

She will step out on Fire. That explosion won't take out her Endoskeleton.

Yeah, but her skin won't grow back, so that means we may lose the best looking chick on tv.

Erm, isn't the "Terminator" in the show supposed to be a T1000 like the one in the Terminator 2 movie? In that case, she doesn't have an endoskeleton, she's an amorphous mass of nano-assemblers. If the fire in that episode is close to the melting point of steel, she could be in trouble. But then this is television...

She isn't Amorphous. I think they refer to her as a triple 8 model. ie....T888
I could be wrong or thats just a term they apply to all the skin jobs, but she can eat and other things.

She has an endoskeleton. As a matter of fact, they showed where John had to cut open her skull and remove her memory chip so they could use it to hack into a computer system. She is defintely not a T1000 series model. I'm just wondering if she's coming back, and how much of her "skin" will she have left if she is still to pose as human.
