Newbie Combat Question

Capital ship missiles (and all seekers for that matter) can only target ships and planets. Satellites, fighters, etc. cannot be targeted.

The percentage to hit is somewhat misleading with seekers. Any seeker that reaches its target automatically hits (much as with ramming). The to hit percentage is more of a guess of whether or not the missile will be able to reach its target before running out of fuel.
