We haven't even started yet and he's already threatening me!
There better not be a patch 3 turns into this game with big R'lyeh nerfs and huge Atlantis buffs!

Re: Late Era Team Game
The finalized map, the map file (which only lch needs, but y'all can enjoy), and an empty mod which I'd like to use are all attached in a zip file.
The mod goes in your mods folder, the map goes in your map folder.
I propose that the game be QH with the first forced host in Monday night, to give people time to resolve any as-yet unknown technical difficulties.

Re: Late Era Team Game
I'm not too sure what color to call it...light yellow? anyhow the far right team (Marignon Pythium I think) it does not seem like the top person (marignon) would have much room to expand...and the bottom right of the map is very open. Perhaps the lower light yellow spot (pythiums start) should be moved down a couple provinces so they can better compete with green for the lower right of the map while allowing marignon more expansion room? In the first image of the map you showed it their start locations had been lower...you mentioned that marignon has to be coastal...but I think the other start could still be moved a bit lower.
I don't know...I could be crazy.
Also, out of curiosity, when I start a new game on the map on the starter provinces there are a couple magic sites that seem to be blank with the name "The Empty Slot" ...what are these?
Still like the map by the way, very nice work.

Re: Late Era Team Game
I don't think my partner is going to be reliable. He is staling his other games and email communication has been too sparse for a team game. I would like to request Baalz to replace him before we upload pretenders.

Re: Late Era Team Game
I can't speak for coobe but I will just throw in a recent quote from vfb in the game Figment that is currently ongoing where it appears that coobe is staling out.

Bah, Coobe did the same thing in Blessing (Lanka) and Fallacy (TC) and Rhoscrowther (Atlantis) too. Grumble, grumble.

Not great buuut...at least in the case of the Blessing game I think his leaving had to do with issues with the llamaserver...my issue is that when leaving the games he doesn't seem to post in the forums that he is quitting or why he is quitting.

There was at least one other game on my server which coobe abandoned at some time without any notice, one of the mod nations games I believe. I already had these things in mind when he signed up for Rhoscrowter again (though that game effectively died from lots more people than him staling and vanishing, same with Onomancy), but I am always giving people the benefit of doubt and hope that they pull their act together, this time. Up to his team partner if he sees it the same way, I guess.
