You forgot to mention you're in the photo album, too! Please search my name and hit the button to request to be my friend And that goes for anyone here, of course.

I've fooled around a bit with a MySpace page but am having trouble figuring out how to use it effectively for marketing. Facebook, at least on the surface, seems far more geared toward business networking. Any tips on MySpace are appreciated! Our page (under construction until we figure it out) is http://www.myspace.com/shrapnelgames
Not even close to as nice as the Facebook page, imo.

Heh, I see you can't make up your mind on Shrapnel's gender on Myspace... imagine the kind of hits you'd get if you put the company's actual age on there

Re: Facebook, anyone?
Yeah, that's the problem. On Facebook there is an option to set up a Product Page, which we've done. If such an option exists on MySpace, I've yet to find it. So I'm trying to make a personal page look like product page. Yuck! I tried entering the birth date of the company, 1999, but I get an error that I have to be at least fourteen years old. And is Shrapnel Games single or married? male or female? I'm losing hope of turning the page into anything respectably worthwhile

Re: Facebook, anyone?
Definitely female, single. And put in some pictures of those girls on the Dominions 3 advertisements!

Re: Facebook, anyone?
Ahh, I get it. We set the profile so that lecherous men searching for prey will stumble across our page? Stats show our typical customer is a 34-55 year old male...interesting.

Myspace is very difficult to work with because of the insane coding they use and lack of user-friendly design.
As one of my colleagues put it: "1996 called, they want their html codes back"
Here's some handy resources

Thank you for the validation! I was beginning to think I was a total idiot. I'll look into your suggested resources!

Re: Facebook, anyone?
Those are great resources, Azselendor. Thank you, again. I think I'm going to setup the page as a profile for Sarge? Anybody here remember him? Will take me some time, though, as I'll have to get him to answer the profile questions
