Re: Fun House Server - Not Started (Join NOW!)
I very nearly defeated Tir in my capital, but I made a few critical mistakes. Live and learn.

Well, I plan on starting a game of these settings again if you are interested.

Re: Fun House Server - Not Started (Join NOW!)
i am, i did like these settings. would be nice to have a few more than 5 players. send me a pm in case i miss the thread. and yeah...i won't normally ever go AI unless I'm quite clearly in the last few turns with nothing worth doing, but...yeah. my wife told me she was leaving me, and then the next morning I logged in to see I'd lost my attempt to throw off the seige in my capital, and all of the mages who'd survived died while retreating. so I just said, "f*** it" and went AI.

sorry to hear that dude. I hope things go better for you in the future. I still hate you for taking Niefelheim though.

I hope you enjoyed watching your giant militia crumble to pieces. As you can see, I take battlefield organization very seriously. You will not see a single commander who is out of place, nor a single unit. All of my units have been trained to form perfect geometric shapes.

Re: Fun House Server - Not Started (Join NOW!)
The four Great Jarls of Niefelheim are dead. Though they killed hundreds of Lizards and sent hundreds of undead back to their graves, in the end they all perished under the wave of skelly spam. It was an epic battle, and never once did any Jarl or Niefel even consider retreating.
Only Vanlande the Jarl remains, but Niefelheim will fight on. We did not cave when Agartha took beloved Niefelheim, and we will not cave now, though our outlook is grim.

Niklatu, leading a great army toward Tir na n'Og has successfully broken into their lands, but is in need of supplies.
Lord Quadisti leads a second army. After returning home from the epic battle with Niefelheim, a dead hero was given a most respectable burial to commemorate his bravery in the battle. He went behind enemy lines and killed Niefelheim's prophet. However, in the same battle he died trying to flank Niefelheim Jarls.
Lord Quadisti's army will have new recruits.

Re: Fun House Server - Not Started (Join NOW!)
A lone scout watched, as the great gates of Niefelheim opened. This is odd, he thought. Those gates have not opened in more than a year.
Then he saw the reason for their opening. Niefel Jarl upon Niefel Jarl came through those gates, striding with power and ineffable might. Some went North, some went West, some went South, and some went East. As they departed, each saluted the others with the Dead Giant Walking salute. None expected to see each other again, but each was determined to kill as many of the small folk as they could.
And so went the last march of the Niefel Jarls.
