MA Mictlan can cast Arrow Fend with the Sky Priests, and that's huge early on.
You've got great communion potential with Turkeys and Couatls. Sky Priests, Turkeys, and Couatls all have superb mobility with flight, Trapeze, and Teleport.
The cheap Mictlan priests are great researchers. You've got great magic diversity, lack of Earth is the only glaring absence.
Tlaloques get you directly into blood without bothering with using scouts for hunting, and from there new hunters are only 25 slaves each. This will also let you branch into death.
Jaguars (the animals) are one of the few animal summons that are actually worth it. Antimagic is easy to cast with a Couatl. The Jade Serpents are nice summons too, and a few of them mixed with turkeys will stop any elephant rush.
I'm playing with an F9A5B4 imprisoned Phoenix, but F9A5E4 would have been better, both for diversification and for reinvigoration. I thought I'd need the B4 for blood, but the summons are good enough for that.
