First time O've heard that. Wow, that's a nasty bug, I hope it's very rare then.

Did not happen after patching or between patchings.

It's a very rare bug, but it's definitely a nasty one. This is one of those scenarios where reloading a saved game directly before hosting would be justified, yet players should not make any game changes.

I've had it happen to prophets and SCs... once my prophet was shown as killed in battle, which made me a sad panda, yet while working my next turn I found him alive as if he retreated to a friendly province.

so is the battle replay buggy or the battle result ? just wanna know if i had won =)

The visual replay is wrong, the text battle result is correct.

I've also had these discrepancies occur in single player games rarely. Would it be helpful to send savegames somewhere if they occur.

Posting them in a single thread would be helpful, because that way they could be compared to each other. I suggest that the bug thread discussion (and perhaps the shortlist if Edi does that) has a link to this thread, and different instances of the bug are posted here.
