I think that the best choice for everyone is to find a predictable teammate because what I read at the forums about random-made teams didn't inspire me at all.
Even if you are the best-of-all hardcore player you will most probably lose to your mediocre opponents who play as a team. That's actually true for almost any team game, RTS, for example.

It's holiday time in France too, that cannot help. Furthermore, weather is good for the first time in months...
