Re: Behemoth?
I think that 5 for 20 gems would be the way to balance it

Re: Behemoth?
Whoa, five for 20 seems like a steal to me. Maybe at Ench-8.

Re: Behemoth?
Meh, the thing about behemoths is yeah you can buff them with body ethereal or iron warriors...but then again you can do the same thing with any random elephants you find and they're pretty much as good (by the time moral factors in with elephants, there's a good chance you're gonna lose anyway). 10 death gems are generally worth waaaay more than 100 gold.

Re: Behemoth?
Ziz are a total waste, but i don't agree about Behemoths. For 60 gems you can get a force that changes the tactical equation at a relatively low research level. On the other hand, i'd defiantly use them more often if they cost 8.

Re: Behemoth?
It sounds like the consensus is that the desirability of Behemoth summons is situational, more a tactic than a strategy. That makes sense. I'm playing a game right now as Helheim, and Niefelheim's threatening my southern border (ironically so--I must be in the southern hemisphere if the frozen regions are to the south). I dropped several Hangadrottir off at a castle I own, which was about to go under siege, and summoned some mechanical men and Behemoths. More expensive than elephants, but I didn't have the ability to move any elephants to the front quickly. (And elephants cost upkeep.) First time I've ever summoned Behemoths in a (non-test) game, but useful under the circumstances. Anyway, thanks. I wasn't sure if I was overlooking some hidden awesomeness of this summons.
