Although I agree way too much time has been lost getting this game started already, I doubt anyone would want to sub a game 2 turns in ( can't design your own pretender even with only 2 turns done) with 2 stales on his nation.

Isn't there a way to remove the nation entirely?

I say we just AI him. No one will want to sub a player on turn 2, and another restart would be too painful.

I might be confusing individual games, but I thought 2 straight stales caused *automatic* becoming AI?
