I think if that's the case, I don't have a problem just declaring Caelum the winner.

I really feel bad for making you guys wait so much, so I really would appreciate if we could just call the game over. vfb has convinced me that it would be pretty much impossible for all of you together to prevent me from winning, but it will still not be an instant win, it would take me many turns. I can just toy around, though. I forged the Gate Stone last turn (yes, even with the Astral Corruption up) and my plans for the coming turn was to show Bandar Log how devastating a powerful Master Enslave can be to his large sieging army, composed of lots of mind-impaired monkeys. I planned to do that for a long time, but forged some goodies first like Slave Matrices and Banner of the Northern Star.

I'd give the whole game away to download together with the master password so everybody can have fun playing out the endgame himself, too.

As I wrote before, I must admit that the game became too cumbersome to manage for a minmaxing perfectionist like me.

Yeah... if the server's down, I'm happy to call it over and declare Caelum the winner. I know exactly what you mean re: cumbersome mop-ups (isn't that the story of every single-player strategy game?

Congratulations Ich. I'd say: well played, but I really have no idea of what you did, so I'll leave it at the assumption that you did something right.

What turn did the game reach in the meantime?

If anybody is interested in the game files, then I can bundle them up, the server is back now. Thanks to all who have participated and sorry for the abrupt end of the game again.
