A disc map
I've made a small (108 provinces) map where provinces revolve around a central peak.
I'm not really done with it as I think there may be balance issues.
The northern continent is connected to the southernmost cave.
I wonder whether there are too many water provinces, because even with sailing, it's not easy to reach the north continent across water.
-EDIT-
I connected the island to both continents in order to act as a bridge.

Re: A disc map
Nice job!
Using the island as a bridge is a fine idea. Maybe add some sort of map symbol (like anchors or sailing ships, docks, etc so that players can tell at a glance where the connections are.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Re: A disc map
Well, yes, I like Pratchett's novels a lot.
If you check the map provinces names, a few of them are obviously Pratchett inspired (Ankh, Howonda, Morpork), but there are quite a few coming from Leiber's Fafhrd novels and two (Gont and Roke) from Le Guin's Earthsea (these are magic-rich, btw).
I was in part inspired by Pratchett, but mostly by the fact I dislike maps with corners. Wrap around maps correct that but I think that wrapping around is ugly, so I wanted a map with some chokepoints and no corners, hence this map.

Re: A disc map
Nicely done. A hand drawn map, and a fairly unique way of looking at the map, its a nice add to the map list.
