Did you lose Obscuro by not paying for him?
I dont have any real experience with your situation, but off the top of my head, I would guess that the problem has to do with monthly rituals interacting with Reanimation (another monthly event). I wouldnt think it was Obscuro or Auspex specifically.

If you saved a copy of your files while you were having the problem, the Devs will probably want to look at them. Even if Obscuro is blameless, it seems like strange behavior.

Well this situation is quite specific.. it should be reproducable and then one could change each factor and see which one was the perpetrator. (I'm not doing this btw)

Yes, Obscuro has bribed your reanimators ! You should put him to death immediately, better : polymorph him into a random monster and send him against your foes as well as the reanimators he bribed !
