One of my coworkers is a Board Game fanatic, so I've had a chance to play quite a few. I tend to like the more hardcore strategic ones. I've really enjoyed:

Power Grid
Age of Empires 3
Goa
Princes of Florence
In the Year of the Dragon
Domaine
Attika
