The map they are playing is like KO said the Shahrivar map ... it is the dom3 version made by Sombre ... you can also find it here in the forum

@KO the guys on somethingawful made a really good job for you ... on every page you can at least count one msg 'i bought the game because of this thread' :-)
I don't know if they have other guides there, but this lp was like a huge tutorial for me ... they explained nearly every aspect of the game and showed me how to play it in multiplayer ... to see that mp games are soo fantastic was, as i said, one of the main reasons for me to buy this game ... it was really funny to read their diplomacy and their cheatings.
