Hi Bob,

I wish I could take the credit for the excellent timing, but the game engine will play the same length missile sound whatever the distance to target.

Fortunately the missile sound fades out towards the end, so the tail-end of the sound is usually covered by the missile's hit explosion, which is a separate sound.

It's all very tricky.

Well however it works, it certainly sounds nice and your hand must be in there somewhere.
